I was just thinking the other day about my own childhood library (on Fort Richardson) and all the doors it opened for me. I am worried that the current group of kids won't have the same opportunity we had. Have you seen the large spaces on the shelves of the new Mt View library in Anchorage? They have a great little building but few books.

Please, if you have books to donate, consider giving them to a public library. Thanks for listening.Lynn Lovegreenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18381497298898067525noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5996753044552511588.post-59851880031152677532010-11-22T08:47:44.221-09:002010-11-22T08:47:44.221-09:00Hooray to librarians!

Funny and inspiring and reminding us of the power of words to transform lives.

Check it out:

http://www.amazon.com/Running-Books-Adventures-Accidental-Librarian/dp/0385529090/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1290447751&sr=1-1Michael E.noreply@blogger.com
