Seeking Poems: Poems in Place, a unique collaboration between
for the Book, Alaska State Parks, a steering committee of poets and writers,
and residents of Alaska Center Alaska, will
place a poem written by an Alaskan writer in each of the seven regions of the ’s system in the coming
Poems in Place will be accepting poems, both original work and nominated poems by other Alaskan writers for
Bight State Historical
and Chena River State Recreation Area, Fairbanks
from January 15 to March 15, 2013. An
honorarium will be paid to the winning poets.
